Hello Mengcheng, you did an amazing job in briefly introducing the core concepts of three learning theories and providing your own examples. Like I stated in my own blog, none of these learning theories could easily motivate students, thereby asking instructors for more time in designing teaching activities. Before we start working on the blueprint and final interactive learning resource, we may figure out which learning theory fits well with target students of our project. Sooner, based upon this specific theory we choose, we design the learning resource that both matches the learning theory and sparks students’ leaning motivation.

Hello Haoran, you tell clearly the differences between extrinsic motivation and intrinsic motivation. I agree with you in that adults are prone to stick to their existing qualitative thinking and world view. I also agree that game-based classroom could increase students’ motivation. I add that not all subjects are suitable with game-based interaction. In the following blue-print section, we may think about the target students and target subject very carefully.
